IDS strengthens Management Board with new appointments

IDS is pleased to announce the expansion of its Management Board with the appointment of Dr. Florina Nicolae and Dr. Catharina Schauer as of 1 January 2024.

Dr. Florina Nicolae will the newly established "Sustainability and Product Development" division. With her expertise, she will further enhance IDS's services in the area of sustainability reporting and foster innovation and growth in product design and development area.

Dr Catharina Schauer's background in financial management and in driving digital projects bring valuable expertise to IDS. As CFO and Head of Corporate Services, she will strengthen operational excellence.

We wish Florina and Catharina a successful start in their new roles.

The GIPS® Conference, one of the world's largest conferences for the Global Investment Performance Standards, was recently hosted by BVI, the CFA Society Germany and the DVFA, bringing together the asset manager and institutional investors community for a day of informative panel discussions, presentations, and discussion groups.

IDS Managing Director Ulrich Raber discussed in a panel discussion about the current trends in performance measurement with Ralf Hudert (DWS), Cem Mani (Generali), and Krzysztof Szlachta (Quoniam) under the moderation of Martin Schliemann (Frankfurt Financial Audit).

During this insightful discussion, panelists exchanged on the sense and purpose of long-term attribution, their limits and difficulties as well as solutions for a better interpretation of long-term calculation.

IDS at the 10th Workshop of the User Group Sustainability Management in Insurance Companies

The user group "Sustainability Management in Insurance Companies" addresses the insurance industry's need for action to align its business activities with sustainable development in economic, ecological and social terms. The focus is on positively linking social responsibility with their core business. Through a moderated exchange between practitioners as well as between science and practice, expert ideas will be generated, individual approaches to solutions discussed and experience values exchanged.

The 10th working meeting of the Sustainability Management User Group of Versicherungsforen Leipzig GmbH will take place on 23 and 24 May 20023 in Hamburg. The main topics are:

Today at 15:15 CET, Wolfgang Dietl, Managing Director at IDS, will participate in a panel discussion about “ESG – Risk and return” at the D-A-CH Kongress for Financial Information (DKF) in Munich.
